Rap music

Rap music- I enjoy rap music, unlike many people I know. I don't know why, but rap music kind of spurs me on when I'm doing something kinda hard, for example, when I'm doing a ropes-course 5 metres up in the air, or running a 3.2km long cross-country.(I haven't got into zone yet, always been reserve.) A few of my favourite raps include "Till I Collapse" by Eminem, "Empire state of mind" by Jay-z and "Don't back down" also by Eminem.

Feel free to check them out.

XBOX 360 vs PLAYSTATION 3

The classic argument. Which is better? Ps3 or X360?

Well, I personally have been involved in such arguments before. Well, I can't really give you guys that much of a fair argument since i own a PS3 but not an X360, but I will try to be as fair as possible.

Let's start off with the 360. A good console, it is an all-around favourite. You can play almost every game on it: GTA, COD, Halo, Borderlands, all those good games. Almost everyone who has Xbox live has a headset, which means you can chat with your team tactically while playing an objective game on say, Halo 3.

It has many accessories, like play and charge cables, stands, all the good stuff.

Now we have the Playstation 3. A Japanese made, trusted console. You can play many games on it, but maybe not as many compared to the Xbox. However, it isn't just for playing games. You can access twitter and facebook, go online, on youtube, chat with your friends, and even watch movies stored on a USB drive. It also supports blu-ray, so you've practically got a blu-ray player and gaming console all put together.

You can also connect your PSP to your PS3 for remote play, which is also very cool.

Unlike the 360, however, the Ps3 allows free access to the Playstation Network so long as you have an  internet connection. The 360 requires you to have an Xbox LIVE subscription, meaning you have a yearly fee to access Xbox LIVE.

The 360 also has a bad reputation for reliability, with a warranty of only 3 years. That basically means that you buy an X360, use it for 3 years, then boom, you got the Red Ring of Death.

So generally, if you want a console which will last you a very long time but whiich will cost you more and has less accessories, go with the PS3.

However, if you want a console which isn't that expensive, supports almost every game and accessory but will only last you 3 years, go with the 360.

The decision is yours to make.

Call of Duty

Yes,yes, yes, the Playstation 3.

I own a Playstation 3 and yes, i do enjoy it. I have no siblings, so it is all to myself. I play the Call of Duty series, Cod 4, MW2 and Black Ops. I play them weekly, but sometimes I get bored of it and just go on the net. I do have broadband internet, so I do play online. Many of you must be thinking: How can you get bored of COD online multiplayer? My answer is: It is repetitive and all you do is kill, kill, kill. Earn a killstreak, say a Chopper gunner, rage on the enemy for say, 50 seconds or whatever, then you're done. It's repetitive. Yeah, yeah, I got a 2 killstreak. So what? I got a 221 million killstreak. Who cares? I'm sorry for all you COD fans, but I do agree with many people that Halo is awesome. I play it on the pc, and I have a lot of fun with it. I have also played it on a friend's 360, it was awesome.

In conclusion, I'm not saying that one is better than the other. What I am saying is, if you have a 360, you're all set. If you're on a PS3, well, you can't get Halo on Playstation for now, which is annoying. You'll probably just have to stick with COD then. However, if you are on 360, you cn play COD for a bit, when you get bored, play Halo. Then switch back.

Hope this was a good review.

Nerf

Nerf. It is the brand of these air-powered dart guns shooting foam darts. There are many people out there who do follow Nerf, but many think it is a childish brand which makes stupid guns and crappy basketballs. i have to say that I do not support Nerf entirely, but I do have a few of them. Many of my friends have Nerf Guns, just like me, but there are also quite a number of people who hate it and think it's rubbish. I do agree with some people who dislike Nerf, though. The basketball thingy is RUBBISH. I am a basketball player and it is crap. I do not own one of those, but know what they are like. And also, Nerf sport equipment. I wonder what kind of a dork would come up with this. Nerf baseball bats for 6 year olds? I wonder how the american government even allow these things. I reckon a 6 year old can easily knock another out with one of these.
However, there are also some good stuff that Nerf has made. Like the Longshot and the Stampede.
They're both pretty cool, and look awesome when spray-painted. Above is a picture I took of my Stampede and my Longshot after I spray-painted them. Top: Longshot
                                                                   Bottom: Stampede

So anyway, in conclusion, Nerf isn't completely rubbish, but they ain't that great either.
All I have for you guys is: Get a few, have a Nerf fight, and you're done. Have a great time!
